  • Listening to: skillet, pillar, apocalyptica, earshot,..others
  • Reading: my own bullshit that i wrote
  • Watching: computer and television
  • Playing: guitar and with the computer
  • Eating: scrambled eggs and toast
  • Drinking: iced tea
I'm trying to get a job as a substitute teacher so i can get out of my current job. It is also so i can get started on a job using my degree...at least until i finally do find something in my career field. Pretty bummed out with my life right now, but i'm trying to keep confidence even in these tough times. The only 2 things i really want out of life right now is a good job that pays enough for me to get my own place and then it would be nice to have a girlfriend. idk...being single can get tiring and lonely. I just get sick of that. So i'll keep at everything and give you guys an update soon when things change hopefully.

Thanks. I like your pics. Looks like stuff that is worthy of extremeinstability.com and targetarea.net. I've never gotten a chance to go chasing myself. I've never even gotten to see a tornado in real life or feel a RFD, but then i don't live in tornado alley.

    Thank you!

I don't live in tornado alley either, but I still manage to get out there whenever I can to chase. I had better success with the COD storm chasers because my instructor is a meteorologist and pretty damn good at it considering the footage I got. But I did do a few solo runs to try my luck (well, more like no luck) out in the Illinois back country. I think the only thing we (my friend Mike and I) intercepted was some really nice clouds. LOL. I'm hoping next year will have a more fruitful yield both with COD and me and my new chasing partner, Stephanie, who also happens to be a meteorologist in training.

Stephanie who? I went to school with a Stephanie so I am curious. I'd love to go out into chase country to see what it's like. I have a question for you...are you in school or do you have a meteorological job? I am having such terrible luck...it seems this major is so awesome except when it comes to finding a job unless you did lots of internships..which i did not. The only thing that i really did was a volunteer program at the NWS WFO in the N.O. area. I have a B.S. degree in ATMS but i've gone all out of luck with pegging a job. Idk if you would have any info for me, but i thought i'd ask a fellow ATMS nerd. Thanks. Have a wonderful day.
